Unshelved comic strip for 11/28/2005

I think I'm finally figuring out how to draw Dewey's motorcycle. Which is good, because now his Grandma has a scooter and I'll be damned if I can draw it right. Some folks were worried that Dewey isn't wearing a helmet. He does use one - he had already taken it off and put it on the side of his bike. You can see it supporting the bike on the ground. It took some damage, a point we will mention.

In yesterday's Book Club strip I used a photographic background for the first time. I think it turned out quite well. I was going to draw all those trees and leaves, but that sort of thing is currently beyond me both artistically and from a time-management perspective. However I don't plan to use photo backgrounds very often. I like drawing.
