Shelf Awareness for Professionals
Unshelved comic strip for 12/4/2003

Stomach Flu

I won't go into the sordid details. A bad day for it, strip wise, because I was all set to draw a half-dozen very funny strips and have Emily scan them in. Instead I'm falling farther behind. Sigh

The good news, such as it is, is that the Fujitsu P5020D arrived yesterday and I couldn't ask for a better sick-day laptop. The DVD drive is providing much-needed distraction courtesy of Angel Season Two, and when I feel up to it I check email or IM with friends. If the screen isn't too small to see when I have a raging fever it's hard to argue that it will ever be too small. And even the teeny keyboard, which concerned me, has been a real trooper with little adjustment.

Not look forward to tomorrow, though, as wife Sara is starting to show the same symptoms that started with her mom, went through Theo (so to speak) and on to me. Hopefully it's just a 24-hour thing (I think so as I'm already feeling better).
